There's lots of pedestrian traffic along this section of Yonge St – I feel pedestrian safety would be improved if there were a traffic light, so folks could cross safely at this intersection.
Add a traffic light at Yonge St & Grenville St/Wood St

Recently bay and Greenville was added and it’s just as close at Yonge a light can work here.

It’s much too close to College/Carlton.
It is a very interesting intersection. I used to sit for a couple of hours (retired) daily in the Second Cup that used to be there and watch the traffic: trucks, cars, pedestrians, cyclists. It was like an intricate dance there. There is also a light one block north at Grovenor. Between the College light and the Grovenor light there seems enough respite in traffic for cars, cyclist & even pedestrians to use the intersection relatively safely without a light. I would be opposed to another light. Also within 5 years the reconstruction of Yonge Street will make it all a moot point. -
