Ward 13 OLA Revitalization
12021-04-26 - 2021-05-16
During this phase Parks, Forestry, and Recreation Staff will be conducting a review of possible locations for the Dog Off-Leash Area. Several criteria is being taken into consideration when evaluating the options including:
- The location does not impede the flood plain
- The location doesn't conflict with other heavy use or permitted areas
- The location will allow for a suitable size OLA, given the demand demonstrated with the high number of dog owners
22021-05-01 - 2021-05-23
During this phase, community members can submit Proposals of what they'd like to see in the park's design (i.e. shade, benches, water fountains, types of surface material, etc).
The proposals submitted and voted on during this phase will be shared with the project consultant hired by Parks, Forestry and Recreation Staff to determine the feasibility and assign a cost to be used as part of the participatory budgeting phase.
